MAKE A DIFFERENCE - GET INVOLVED

Donate

Making a donation, however small, will enable the St. Mary’s SVP to make a difference to the lives of people in real need, facing many forms of disadvantages. We rely on the generosity of people like you to help them. Please give as much as you can.
For those wishing to kindly make a donation, you can either put your donation in the wall box marked SVP at the back of the church or enclose your donation in an envelope addressed to St Mary SVP and post it through the Rectory door in Draycott Terrace.

Become a Friend

By becoming a Friend of the St Mary’s SVP you can ensure that some of todays most excluded people are given a chance to have a better life while also contributing positively to the future of this work.
The Friends scheme was officially launched at the start of 2006, with the aim of raising funds and awareness about St Vincent de Paul Society and its work. It is ideal for members of the public who would like to support the work we do, but are unable to spare the time to become a member themselves.

Become a Member

Membership of the St. Mary’s SVP is open to men and women, young and old, of any denomination. We only ask that members accept fully the Christian ethos of the Society, and are committed to express their love of God through personal service to their neighbour. We respect religious liberty and value all people.

By joining the St. Mary’s SVP group you can help to support individuals, families and local communities in need. Volunteering with the St. Mary’s SVP is an opportunity to become part of a network of dedicated people making a difference to people’s lives. You can volunteer for a whole range of activities with us, depending on your interests.

Become a Volunteer

Given our person-to-person approach to helping others, the time, commitment and enthusiasm of our volunteers are at the very heart of all the work we do. If you would like to find out more about these other ways to support us, please contact us.

The St. Mary’s SVP is a voluntary organisation which relies on the support of members and others who are able to give of their time. We very much welcome new volunteers and are extremely grateful for any time or services you may be able to give to us.
If you would like to find out more about volunteering opportunities in your local area please get in touch.
